Thomson West Named One of the “Best Places to Work in IT” by Computerworld Magazine

I’ve been neglecting the blog too much lately; things have been really busy- we’ve been traveling a lot of weekends, and during the week I’m just not thinking of blogging.

I’ve been at West for almost 3 months now, and I’m still really enjoying it.  There are a lot of benefits to working in a large company- plus I really like seeing stuff from the company outside of work- Calin and I saw some books published from West at the bookstore the other night, and I’m constantly seeing West’s books on law shows (I was told later that they pay for the shows to put them there).

That’s all for now; I’ll try to get better at posting regularly again- even if it’s just passing on a link or article.

Well, as I posted, the mayor of Rochester decided to kill the Fast Ferry.  Probably all for the best, it just wasn’t making any money.  But I regret that I never got to take it for a ride.
