I completely empathize. My friend and I have a distinction between good movies and entertaining movies. Good movies are movies that are done with quality. Entertaining movies are simply ones you enjoy. Let's face it, just because you like something, doesn't mean its quality. It just means you like it. Entertaining movies would include: Goonies, Hackers, The Court Jester, Tango and Cash, and pretty much the entire martial arts genre. Yup, Hackers was a bad movie, and I love watching it.
