Some interesting news manifested itself at work recently; Thomson may merge with Reuters creating Thomson-Reuters; I’m wondering if that means my company will become Thomson-Reuters-West; that’s a bit of a mouth full.  Read about it here: http://thomson.com/content/pr/corp/acquisitions_divestitures/202048

I actually had a few things that I wanted to blog about, but I thought I would try to separate thoughts into different posts; Since it’s getting towards the end of the hockey season I’ve been watching more of the Sabres games; Calin isn’t as interested in the Sabres as she is about RIT, so I’ve been (and am presently) watching alone .

Anyway; attached is a video of the Sabres getting robbed of a goal on Tuesday night- there was a lot of yelling at the TV set:

Tim’s sister-in-law Alison asked me to pose for a photo she was doing for her portfolio; the picture will be of me reading the paper with a parrot on my shoulder; (this picture was taken before the parrot was brought in). Allison said she’ll give me a copy for the blog once she’s had a chance to edit it. Calin was very excited to be married to a model.
