McDonalds Coffee

I had to get into work early this morning (I know most people don’t consider 8:00am early, but that’s early for me), and I needed something more than cereal or a muffin for breakfast, so I stopped into McDonald’s. For those who don’t know, they recently released new “Premium Roast” coffee there- I was intrigued by the commercials, but hadn’t stopped in- I figured they had nowhere to go but up from what they used to have. Wow. Their coffee was pretty good, not spectacular, but pretty good- I’ll still go to Starbucks or a different small place before McDonald’s, but their new coffee is up there; definitely better than Dunkin’ Donuts. I guess that’s what happens when you have the money to spend on research and such. The only problem they’ll have is that a lot of people loved their old coffee, so they probably should carry both- at least for a while- to make everyone happy.

  1. Who’s coffee was it? Green Mountain Roasters? Where are you located? Thank you JM

  3. It was their own coffee, and I had it at a McDonalds in Webster, NY, outside of Rochester.

  5. I loved the old coffee, the new coffee is too weak for me.
